I now have a visitor counter!! Jason kept telling me I needed one and TADA…I now have one! It’s at the bottom and should track all new visitors. Setting a goal here of 100 new hits for the month of April. Help me out…if you visit and like what you see please send my website onto others. And it doesn’t hurt to comment either!! 😉
This place is unbelievable! Under climate-controlled glass atriums, we were surrounded by nine acres of lush indoor gardens, winding rivers and pathways, and sparkling waterfalls. There was just so much to see and I think the pictures turned out great. I hope to be able to return at Christmas.
It’s easy to see why this is one of Georgia’s most popular state parks. Amicalola, a Cherokee Indian word meaning “tumbling waters,” is an appropriate name for these 729-foot falls ~~ the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. And leave it to the Schnaus family to think it would be a great idea to hike up the side! My calves hurt for 3 days!

We all made it…ok so my dad drove up but this is everyone at the top!
